Born in 1964, he graduated in bass in '91. His interest in all musical genres led him to study electric bass in parallel.
In 1984 he co-founded the workshop group Loscomobile which produces hundreds of concerts and two records; he is the author of much of the repertoire.
From '89 to '95 he is a double bass player in the group of singer-songwriter Gian Maria Testa and participates in the realization of his first CD "Montgolfieres" for the French label "Label bleu".
From 1991 to 1994 he collaborated with the Orchestra di Savona (Sinfonica, Lirica e da Camera) participating in the recording of operas and recitals.
He collaborates with the Orchestra "B. Bruni" and "G. Ghedini" of Cuneo, Ensemble Antidogma and Camerata Casella of Turin.
Parallel to this activity is the presence in the Bolling Group, in the rhythmic section of the Serenata Trio (music by A.Piazzolla - Rino Vernizzi soloist) and in numerous jazz groups alongside soloists such as Riccardo Zegna, Gianni Negro, Bruno Astesana, Alfredo Ponissi, Andrea Allione, Marco Soria, Diego Borotti, Fabrizio Bosso, Emanuele Cisi, Claudio Chiara, Luigi Ferrara, Marco Parodi, Roberto Taufic, Gilson Silveira, Luigi Tessarollo, Marcos Roagna, Skip Hadden, John Ramsay, Sergio Bellotti, Garrison Fewell, Blue Dolls and Anime di Corda. He plays and records with the formation of Lil'Darling Hot Club, a group specialized in monographs on great jazz singers (winter seasons at the Piccolo Regio in Turin and at the Auditorium del Carlo Felice in Genoa; Cantina Bentivoglio in Bologna; Alexander Plaz in Rome; Jazz Club "Le Scimmie" in Milan; Naima in Forlì...) and with the group Atelier de Swing (Festival Jazz Clusone '04; Festival Mistà; Il Torrione in Ferrara; Bar Wolf in Bologna...); Atelier accompanies Giorgio Conte and has two Cds. He is a double bass player in the group "Shirim" (musical reading of Jewish traditions with Avi Avital), the gospel choir "Trust in Jesus", the "10 HP BAND" with repertoire of Lucio Battisti (special guest Alberto Radius) and the folk-theater group "Trelilu" (13 Cds to the credit, 1 DVD; 17 Glomel Festival in Brittany; Seasons at the Teatro Erba e Gioiello in Turin; Participation in television broadcasts and films).
He recently released for Videoradio in Milan his first solo CD entitled Aritmiaritmetica. Three tracks on this CD entered the Raitrade/Videoradio compilation entitled "Fusion, Jazz, Rock & Groove".
Since 1986 he has worked as an instrumentalist at recording studios.
Teaches electric bass and double bass at the Fondazione Fossano Musica.
