Antonello Mazzucco graduated from the conservatory of S. Cecilia under the guidance of Maestro G. Mazzoni, at the same time he attended the Konsarvatorium Fur Musik in Bern in class of B. Slokar. He then continued his studies with C. Vernon, A. Jacobs, J. Alessi, A. Conti and D. Wiks.
He has won auditions in the following orchestras: Teatro S. Carlo, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Orchestra A. Toscanini in Parma, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Orchestra Sinfonica in Sanremo, Orchestar Haydn in Bolzano, Teatro di Treviso.
He has played with the orchestra of the Teatro S. Carlo in Naples, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Accademia di S. Cecilia, the Filarmonica della Scala, the Radio Hamburg and the Orchestra Mahler, the Radio Orchestra of Italian Switzerland.
In 1996 he won the competition at the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai in the role of second trombone and bass trombone. He is active in the field of chamber music as part of the brass quintet of the RAI symphony orchestra and a member of the brass quintet Spilimbrass, with whom he recently recorded a CD.
In the field of teaching he regularly holds master classes both in the conservatories (Cuneo, Novara, Trieste, Terni, University of Lubjana) and in the summer courses of the city of Spilimbergo.
In FFM he teaches the class of Trombone and teaches trombone to the students of the Orchestrando path. In terms of ensemble music, he is the promoter, organizer and director of the FFM Brass Ensemble.
